Develop advanced RFID readers for newly standardized long range battery assisted passive RFID. Design ultra-high sensitivity in bistatic and monostatic reader systems, carrier cancellation architectures, low power reader modules for handheld terminals, MIMO/beam forming antenna systems. Identify new components and integrated circuits to enable small form factor readers. Design architecture, schematic, layout, board bring up and test, design verification, DFT/DFM, ramp up to production.
- Master’s (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and 3 years of experience
- Must have 3 years of experience in RFID design
- Must have experience with mixed signal board design for software defined radio
- Must have experience with tools such as, Orcard, mentor graphics, Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA)
