Richard Bravman, Chairman: Richard brings 27 years of software, marketing, sales and general management experience in wireless, mobility and automatic identification technologies. Formerly Vice Chairman and CEO of Symbol Technologies, Inc. Mr. Bravman also serves on the boards and as an advisor of several venture-backed technology companies.

Linnea Geiss, Director: Linnea Geiss is a Principal at Arcapita Ventures. Linnea joined Arcapita in 2007 and focuses on investments in the IT and industrial technology sectors across the US. Prior to joining Arcapita, Linnea spent 5 years with Radiant Systems (NASDAQ: RADS), where she held a variety of positions in implementation, product development, and marketing strategy functions. Her tenure with Radiant included nearly 3 years of international experience, where she helped grow the EMEA business unit and establish the European Center of Excellence in Prague, Czech Republic. Linnea holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Duke University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Atlanta CEO Council, serves on the advisory board of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Atlanta and is the Chair of the Southern Capital Conference.

Ketan Patel, Director: Ketan Patel, Principal, joined New Venture Partners in 2006. Previously, he worked in a variety of operational roles in the semiconductor industry, encompassing startups and large multinational corporations. Ketan holds a BS, magna cum laude, in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, an MS, cum laude, in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Robert Schwartz, Director: Robert Schwartz is Managing Partner of Third Point Ventures, the Sunnyvale, California-based venture capital arm of Third Point LLC, which is a registered investment adviser based in New York and the investment manager of the Third Point Funds. Since 1984, Mr. Schwartz has also been the President of RF Associates North, Inc., a privately-held technical manufacturer’s representative firm. Mr. Schwartz is presently a director of several privately-held companies. Mr. Schwartz holds two undergraduate engineering degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.

Julie England, Director: Ms. England has extensive experience in the semiconductor, RFID, and defense systems electronics industries. In 2009 she retired from Texas Instruments, Inc. after a 30 year career in which she held several executive positions, most recently serving as Vice President and General Manager of RFID. Previously, she was Vice President of a microprocessor division at Texas Instruments and prior to that, Vice President of Quality for the Semiconductor Group.

Ms. England is a member of the Board of Directors of Checkpoint Systems, Inc. and Intelleflex Corporation and serves on the board of the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, NM. Previously she served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

Peter Mehring, Director: CEO of Intelleflex. Formerly VP of Macintosh hardware group at Apple Computer, Sr. VP of Engineering at Echelon, founder and GM & VP (R&D) at UMAX.


Board Observers

Chris Neil: Maxim, Division Vice President of the Conversion, Computing, and Secure Products Division. Mr. Neil holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he joined Maxim in 1990.

Dr. David Tennenhouse: New Venture Partners, Partner, joined New Venture Partners and opened its Silicon Valley office in 2007. He is focused on developing relationships with corporate R&D teams and strategic business units. David joined New Venture Partners from Amazon.com where he was Vice President of Platform Strategy and CEO of its A9.com subsidiary. Prior to Amazon/A9, David was Vice President and Director of Research at Intel Corporation where he pioneered an "open collaborative" approach to corporate research.
